Tell House leaders: don’t let KOSA pass with end of year budget bill!
The Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) is back once again, and this time, the bill’s authors are trying to force a new version through by slipping it into a must-pass end of year spending bill. Call House leaders and tell them to block all efforts to pass KOSA!
In case you missed it, KOSA is an online censorship bill disguised as an effort to “protect kids.” Even in its updated form, KOSA threatens free expression online by empowering the FTC to selectively police speech the administration deems inappropriate.
Proponents include Elon Musk and the Heritage Foundation, who have openly shared their plans to use KOSA to censor LGBTQ+ content and police trans speech.
