The PRESS Act (H.R. 4250) would protect journalists from government interference in their work, providing safeguards against forced disclosures of confidential sources and surveillance through Big Tech companies. Journalists should be able to do their jobs without facing jail time or being surveilled by the government. 

The PRESS Act is broadly bipartisan and passed the House unanimously, it’s time for the Senate to do their job to protect journalists and support this legislation.
