Celebrities come together to raise funds for Fight for the Future’s 10th Anniversary
Sense8 co-creator Lilly Wachowski and Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine donate items to a fundraising auction
Digital rights group Fight for the Future are auctioning Sense8 memorabilia and Tom Morello’s book as a 10th anniversary fundraiser.
Sense8 co-creator Lilly Wachowski (also known for the Matrix trilogy, Cloud Atlas, and more) has generously donated the bike used by Nomi as an escape vehicle in Season 1, Episode 8. Supporters will have the opportunity to bid on this unique memorabilia and support the fight for a more community-centric, equitable, and open Internet.
The activist and musician Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, and Prophets of Rage) has graciously donated a signed copy of his book Whatever It Takes.
Morello commented that: “Fight for the Future is uncompromising, kick ass, and ruthlessly strategic in the best possible way. They know how to be loud. And they’re not afraid to speak the truth, even when it’s unpopular or controversial… I know that Fight for the Future will do whatever it takes to fight for a world free from censorship and surveillance, where technology is a force for justice instead of tyranny.”
The auction is open through April 12 at https://www.32auctions.com/fightforthefuture
